On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 66 of 66 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

When is it proposed to take Committee Stage?
Is that agreed? Agreed.
When is it proposed to sit again?
I welcome the Minister of State, Deputy Ossian Smyth, to the House.
We are here to listen to the Minister of State, and questions will be put to him as well. If he would like more time to finish his contribution, we would be interested in hearing everything he has to say.
Before we take the next business, I welcome to the Gallery the Minister of State, Deputy Niall Collins, from Limerick, and his guests, who I hope are from Abbeyfeale, where I used to live once upon a time, but who are certainly from west Limerick or Limerick county. I welcome the Minister of State, Deputy Butler, to the Chamber for this important debate on child and adolescent mental health services, CAMHS. I know she has been working very hard on this issue and for those affected by it. We are working to have the …
I thank the Minister of State for her hard work and that of her team on addressing this important issue, which affects people in Kerry as it does people all over the country. I join the Senator in thanking the Mental Health Commission and its CEO, Mr. John Farrelly, for their work and oversight in respect of this matter. I welcome to the Public Gallery Mr. David Calleary, nephew of the Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Deputy Dara Calleary. David is here on transition year wor…
Is that agreed? Agreed.
I have been informed the Minister is required to attend a vote in the Dáil Chamber.
I support the comments of Senator Flynn on the ongoing campaign against many Members of this House, the other House and other public representatives, particularly with regard to people coming from different backgrounds and communities being targeted. Social media is the wild west of public comment with people hiding behind it and being able to say things that they would not be able to get away with in other media. It is something that we have to address. I also echo the comments of Senator Keogan about Ann Lovett. …

Yes, amendment No. 7 is separate.
Not yet. We are just doing amendment No. 6 in section 7. We will go to amendment No. 7 after this.
We are on amendment No. 7.
Amendments Nos. 8 to 11, inclusive, are related and may be discussed together.
I join colleagues in supporting the Order of Business and the calls for a debate on EU50, which would be very appropriate. I also welcome the statement by Pope Francis calling for the equality we all believe citizens of the world should have. As my colleague, Senator Malcolm Byrne, pointed out, not only is it a criminal offence to love people of the same sex in certain countries, it is a capital offence in some of them. That is reprehensible. The statement by the Pope is most welcome and will, we hope, change heart…
I welcome the Minister and thank him for attending to deal with what is a very important topic given the waiting times and issues with trolleys in hospitals throughout the country, which have caused so much distress among so many over recent weeks.
I understand the Acting Leader wishes to propose an amendment to the Order of Business.
