On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 66 of 66 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Please speak to the amendment, Senator.
I call Senator Wall on the amendment.
As it is now 12.30 p.m., I am required to put the following question in accordance with the order of the Seanad of this day: "That Fourth Stage is hereby completed, that the Bill, as amended, is hereby received for final consideration, and that the Bill is hereby passed."
Is the Senator seconding the amendment?
I thank the Leader for putting forward the Commencement Matter on student nurses' pay. I selected it because it is such an important issue. There are too many nurses emigrating because of their experience in our health system while they are trainee nurses and student nurses. On the issue of climate action, I hope that we could include it on our schedule. I was at a foreign affairs committee meeting in the same week the Pope said climate change was a risk to humanity and the Pentagon said it was a bigger threat than…
Is there a seconder?
When is it proposed to take Second Stage?
Is that agreed? Agreed.
Amendments Nos. 5 and 6 are out of order.
Two amendments to the section have been ruled out of order.
I have received notice from Senator Robbie Gallagher that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter: The need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on the nursing homes support scheme. I have also received notice from Senator Ollie Crowe of the following matter: The need for the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media to make a statement on the matter of Sky Sports having exclusive rights to coverage of inter-county GAA champ…
I thank the Senator but he is not allowed to interrupt without permission.
I thank the Minister for outlining all of that to the House.
For the purposes of clarification, while this is a Labour Party Private Member's Bill, we are on Committee Stage. The rules of normal Committee Stage procedure apply. There is no rota by party or group. Members must indicate if they wish to be on the list of speakers. The other issue is that the House agreed that this debate would adjourn one hour after it started, which means it will adjourn at 5.09 p.m. We will adjourn at that stage.
There are only seven minutes remaining and four more speakers, Senators Moynihan, Ruane, Keogan and Wall, are indicating. This is not the end of the debate. It will continue on another day.
I thank the Minister for coming to the House for the debate and I thank all Members for their contributions. Members who were not able to get in on this occasion will be able to do so when the debate is resumed.
Before I call on the Leader, I also pay tribute to Geraldine Finucane for her courage, resilience and relentless pursuit of justice for the murder of her husband, Pat Finucane. Nobody should be afraid of the truth. We had a great debate for two hours with the Minister for Foreign Affairs and there was consensus across the House that the truth should be given to the family, an inquiry was needed, and is still needed.
We all agree with the Leader about RTÉ and "The Late Late Toy Show". It was a huge lift. The Leader's description of the past few months as being crap is probably the most accurate description of the past while. Senator Boyhan has moved an amendment to the Order of Business: "That No. 24, motion 8, be taken before No. 1". The Leader has said she is prepared to accept the amendment. Is the amendment agreed? Agreed.
I have received notice from Senators Fitzpatrick and McGreehan, who are sharing time, that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, they propose to raise the following matter: The need for the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth to make a statement on the process by which survivors of mother and babies homes will apply for and receive unredacted copies of their personal records and documents in advance of the publication of the report from the commission of investigatio…
