-----after a Senator had completed their speech. You can interrupt a Senator during their speech but you have to ask permission. If the Senator allows you to do so 30 seconds time will be added on to the Senator who gives way. After the speech it becomes the next Senator's time.
Senator Clonan has proposed an amendment to the Order of Business: "That No. 20 would be taken before No. 1." It was seconded by Senator McCarthy. The Leader has indicated that he is prepared to accept the amendment. Is the amendment agreed to? Agreed.
