It is the Taoiseach's way or the highway.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 125 of 781 decisive votes (6 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

It is the Taoiseach's way or the highway.
I can dance to music. Whose tune is the Taoiseach dancing to? He is dancing to the tune of the globalists.
We will be using it.
On a point of clarification, I do not like the mood music coming from the Taoiseach's lips. It is the dead man's waltz.
This morning we learned that the Department of Health will pay the €187,000 salary of the former Chief Medical Officer, CMO, Dr. Tony Holohan, while he dips his toe into academia at Trinity College Dublin. The Department will also have to pay his replacement. Is this not evidence of a cosy cartel or a two- or three-tier society? People are hard-pressed to try to survive and yet the Government can do this for Dr. Holohan, its friend. This goes all the way back to Aughinish Alumina. They covered up for each other and…
Personalisation. Shocking. Is the Taoiseach in charge of the country or not?
Is the Cabinet in charge?
Where has collective responsibility gone?
I too ask the Minister to go back to the drawing board. Cuirim fíor-fháilte roimh Elaine freisin to the Gallery. I salute the champions of childcare, especially the small providers. I was proud and privileged to be a founder member of Naíonra Chaisleáin Nua with Helen McGrath and a couple of others. That institution is flourishing now. It is of the people, by the people and for the people. We are told, and studies state, that the most important years of our lives are the formative childhood years. I have two little…
Carbon taxes.
I am sure, having been elected to this House, that the Minister's commitment is to serving the people. He has been talking about what is in the programme for Government. What about the promise he made to look after the people? It was announced yesterday that ESB prices are going to go up by between 23% and 25%. The Minister is blaming the war. Please be honest with the people. These prices were spinning out of control anyway. We introduced a motion to address that last October before there was any mention of a war.…
The Government has sold the bogs.
Ah, here.
When?
The Government has abandoned the people.
I too support this Bill, but there are pitfalls in it. I salute what the Army did as peacekeepers all over the world. Ireland was recognised as being a neutral country as far back as Seán MacBride and his attempts in that regard. I am very concerned about Fine Gael and the noises emanating from that party, and from some in Fianna Fáil as well. We are in the EU club now and it is almighty. There has been much talk of NATO and Ukraine getting involved in it. Now that we are in a mess, they are afraid to do anything. …
The Covid emergency powers are due to run out at midnight tomorrow. We are so used to the emergency legislation that we now take it for granted. I have a petition signed by 3,000 people in the last few days calling for them to be ended. We want them ended. I understand they are to end. I have asked parliamentary questions but have not been told. Are they ending tomorrow night, Thursday, 31 March, or not? The Taoiseach will know that the following day is April fool's day. We need a straight answer from him now. Will…
I thank the Taoiseach for a straight answer, for once. We need to remember that Friday is April fool's day.
Téimid ar ais go dtí an páirtí Shinn Féin, an Teachta Martin Browne agus an Teachta Andrews. Cúig nóiméad, to be shared.
I call an Teachta Ó Murchú, if he can get his breath. He is just after arriving into the Chamber.
