We do not have any copies of the Minister's speech. I have asked and none are available. We are 20 minutes-----
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 125 of 781 decisive votes (6 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Of course it is.
I accept that the Acting Chairman is in a difficult position.
I do not accept the advice. How are we going to-----
I have seen this before, where Ministers were asked for speeches, instructions were given and they arrived. Are we going to get a copy of the speech?
Any idea when?
Import all the oil and gas.
Import it all.
On a point of clarification-----
How can anyone have faith in the Minister if he cannot give us an indicative time of when we will have a copy of his speech?
When?
No, that is not right. We should have it. Normal practice is that we would have it.
Can we have an indicative time for when we will have it? That is all I am asking. I do not want to be unfair to the Minister. I am asking the Minister to give us an indicative time. Will we have it in an hour? Will we have it this evening at all? When will we have it?
That is not acceptable.
In a reply to my parliamentary question this morning I was told that 36,820 people were waiting for a colonoscopy. There has been a 59% increase in the number of people waiting for scopes since the start of the pandemic. These are shocking figures. The Tánaiste talks in reams about vaccines and everything else but this is a cancer growing inside people. Many people will die. Probably more will die from it than will die from Covid. It is shocking. I have asked for figures on the number of people who have become seri…
They do not have the right to hog the debate.
I am a Whip and I am getting whipped, obviously. I did check. I was downstairs, which was even worse. I rang and in fairness to the staff in the Chief Whip's office, I was told our group would not be reached in any shape, make or form. There was only 40 minutes. I came up when I saw the Minister speaking but the debate was finished when I arrived. It cannot be monitored. If people are not turning up to speak when they are supposed to, it cannot be monitored. In the last Dáil, there was certainty as to when Deputies…
On a point of clarification, I do not get pingin amháin as Whip. The Ceann Comhairle knows that himself.
I do not get a shilling for it.
Yes.
