Is the Bill opposed?
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 125 of 781 decisive votes (6 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

I ask Deputy Wynne to move that Second Stage be taken in Private Members' time.
Go raibh maith agat.
I thank the Taoiseach. I cannot touch the bell, sin é an scéal. Bogfaimid ar aghaidh.
Go raibh maith agat.
I thank the Deputy.
Go raibh maith agat.
I call Deputy Ó Murchú eile.
I, too, am also glad to be able to speak to this. The Taoiseach told us in his speech that he had met the new Prime Minister in England. It is very important to build up relations there but I have fierce concerns too about our neutrality, the Tánaiste's constant meddling with the triple lock, and his constantly saying that our neutrality is an outdated position. I am also worried about food production, and us being seen as green, clean and producers of good, safe food. There is an attack on our farmers and we are n…
It is only because we are neutral that we do not have someone over at that summit. The Taoiseach was asked that question earlier but he was almost certain there was not. It probably would be different if there was not. We have to represent the people of Ireland who we are elected to represent. Governments are solemnly charged under the Constitution to represent our people and stand up for them. Any amount of blackguarding has gone on with climate change and the whole demonising of agriculture and our way of life, a…
I am also very concerned on behalf of our group with the amount of legislation being dealt with this week and the amalgamation of three pieces of legislation into one and amendments being subsumed. It is not a way to do business. There is no proper scrutiny of these pieces of legislation. I support the NAS workers whom I met outside the gates earlier. They are out in large numbers on a very inclement day. It is a shocking situation that they have not had a wage increase in almost a decade and a half. It is not acce…
Not agreed.
The Taoiseach has met Cara Dermody a number of times. It is very unfair that a child of that age has to come up here each week in all kinds of weather with her father - her mother Noelle is at home looking after her two younger brothers - to look for something that is supposed to be provided under the law. The Disability Act clearly states that children must be assessed within a given period of time. How can the HSE and the Department of Health knowingly and intentionally flout the law in respect of children with a…
The Residential Tenancies (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill 2024 aims to amend the Residential Tenancies Act 2004, specifically in relation to SSA tenancy licences. The Bill stipulates that student accommodation will adhere to the traditional September to May academic year, up to 41 weeks, unless a student requests a longer tenancy. It is all about "mol an óige agus tiocfaidh sí". We must do that, but many obstacles are put in front of young people. In that vein, I welcome Joey Hawkins to the Gallery. He is a young student …
What of the EPA?

It is disgusting.
I thank Sinn Féin for tabling this motion. I welcome Lucia, her husband, their daughter, family and others. I commend her from the bottom of my heart on her tenacity, energy, efficiency and sterling, detailed forensic work in this case. It must be unbearable for her to have lost her wonderful son. He was killed, or murdered as I said before, so callously. She has had to do this work when the State has failed. I see the Minister's response to the motion tonight. Not only the Minister, Deputy McEntee, but former Mini…
Those are only the ones that I am dealing with myself. Other Deputies have mentioned many others that are going on. I salute all the Deputies who have spoken here tonight. It behoves us as elected Members of this Dáil to live up to our Constitution and the freedoms that were fought for by those gallant men, or else we should pack up and go home, and let some dictator take it over. The Minister is covering the system. I raised last week the situation of Strokestown, where a false, illegal warrant was used in the Hig…
