On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 125 of 781 decisive votes (6 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Oliver Callan, eat your heart out.
You cannot get a felling licence.
It has left a bad taste.
You cannot cut a bush.
What about the thistles?
What about the county councils?
What about the sewers?
It is socialist discrimination.
I, too, want to wish every Minister and the Taoiseach the very best. I will not support them in the vote, if one is called, but I wish them well. As I said, during this holy season of Advent I wish a happy and peaceful Christmas to everybody in the House, including the staff and families at home. Today's announcement is a game of musical chairs, where the self-interest of every Government Deputy is prioritised. Incompetence gets rewarded. Not a single Minister is ever held accountable for not delivering, or for any…
Foreign stations are butting in again. Can they not turn off and get a different dial? Dial in some Al Jazeera or something else the Deputy is supporting. He was supporting Russia a few years ago.
He was supporting Russia a few years ago.
I did not interrupt him. The Government is controlling the people. They cannot heat themselves tonight in their homes, given the price of home heating oil and then there is the carbon tax on top of that. It is such a time to put on carbon tax when people are under pressure anyway. Thankfully, we have seen oil prices go down and there has been a bit of relief. There is control there. They have the toolbox given to them by their masters in Europe but they would not open the damn thing and use the tools inside it. Eve…
-----and the little presents under the Christmas tree would be very scarce. The bosca would be full inside only with a bit of wrapping paper. It might not even be Christmastime.
On behalf of the Rural Independent Group, I express our deepest sympathy to the family, friends and colleagues of Private Seán Rooney. I wish a speedy recovery to Shane Kearney and the others who were injured and traumatised by what I understand was a very hostile situation and serious incident. Irish peacekeepers are recognised all over the world. I visited Lebanon with Deputy Noel Grealish some years ago and heard first-hand how they are held in high regard, as they are in many other areas of the world where they…
Earlier, the Tánaiste spoke about the Garda Síochána and the great job they do. I support that and we must all support the Garda. However, the Dickensian condition of Clonmel Garda station has been raised in this House for the last 40 years, if not more. It is not fit for purpose. The Department of Justice has been playing games. It was bundled as a group with two other stations, one at Sligo and one at Macroom. Now, the Department has decided in its wisdom to bundle it in with a new children's court building. They…
It has been 50 years.
I compliment Solidarity-People Before Profit for putting down this motion for debate. I am unsure as to what different acronyms this group uses but I believe we should consider this motion, as a person who was never in favour of nationalisation. We must, however, consider it here because of the ineptitude of several Governments. Ar an gcéad dul síos I wish the Minister, Deputy Eamon Ryan and the Minister of State, Deputy Ossian Smyth, the Cathaoirleach Gníomhach, and others, a happy, holy, and peaceful Christmas. A…
Of course you did. You wanted more carbon tax.
