On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 58 of 393 decisive votes (7 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

When will it be implemented?
If the Government is not going to implement it straightaway, what is the rush?
It is not agreed. I call for a full vote of the House.
The debate by all Deputies tomorrow will be curtailed by a vote today by a reduced number of Members. Deputies will not be able to table or vote on valid amendments tomorrow because a reduced number of Deputies voted today to curtail tomorrow's debate.
I return to the issue of antigen testing, which I have raised several times with the Tánaiste. The European Commission has advocated the use of antigen testing. The Irish Government said "No" and that it was not good enough to take up the 20 million antigen tests offered by the European Commission. It was not good enough to facilitate visits to nursing homes. It was not good enough to facilitate the return to schools or to make schools safer. Lo and behold, we woke up on Monday morning to find out that the Departme…
But I think I can follow up on a previous question.
Okay. I am sure the Tánaiste can respond if he wishes, given that his Department specifically deals with the banks daily. He is well acquainted with the issue of antigen testing should he choose to reply.
This false positive and reassurance is a bit like the argument against giving out condoms during the HIV pandemic, that people would feel reassured and behave on that basis. Frankly, I do not buy it. Every single person who is detected is somebody who would not otherwise be detected. It is not that we are taking people away from PCR testing to antigen testing; it is in addition to it. It is a screening process. Therefore, I simply do not accept that argument. I can see that Deputy Kelly, who I know has also been vo…
I was following up on the Tánaiste's response.
Is there one within 5 km of everybody?
There are other people waiting for the national broadband plan to be connected. Among those, there is a smaller cohort who are just a half a kilometre down the road from where the existing Eir connection ends. Is there anything as part of the plan that can be done to incentivise Eir or other providers to take in a group, within, what I accept is, another half a kilometre, when a sizeable number of people can be connected for a very small amount of infrastructural outlay?
I endorse what the previous speaker said and I thank Deputy Doherty for bringing forward this Bill. We have discussed the issue of dual pricing and how wrong it is quite a bit. Effectively, it punishes customers of insurance companies for their loyalty. It is also important to point out that, in effect, it preys on people's vulnerability. What frequently happens is that it affects people who have been with an insurance company for a very long time, who know that they must insure their car, home or whatever else, an…
The Shannon Group has now been without a chairman for six months at a time of unprecedented challenge to the group. There are no planes going into or out of Shannon other than US military planes which, of course, are creating their own controversy because they seem to not have to adhere to Covid rules. The tourism sector is on its knees and the Shannon Heritage sites are shut. Commercial property faces its own challenge. The fiasco yesterday involving the appointment of a man with no ostensible experience in any of…
Six months.
Government Ministers interviewed-----
When will an appointment be made?
Questions imply answers. I did not get an answer.
Deputy Fitzmaurice stated that we had a meeting on Zoom the other night. I have always taken the view that the beef task force was just a talking shop. It is not even talking now. Could the Minister tell us why?
I know the role it plays. Why is it not meeting?
