The Deputy had his say. He was late coming in. I was lenient and let him contribute, but now he should have a bit of manners.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 637 of 646 decisive votes (3 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

No, I thank the Deputy. Let the Minister of State speak.
I thank the Minister of State. That concludes statements to mark Europe Day.
I call on Deputy Ó Broin, who is sharing his time.
I thank the Minister, but his time is up.
Deputies, please. Can we have order?
The next speaking slot is Sinn Féin's, with five speakers. I would like it if they were fair to one another and only took two minutes each.
I compliment and congratulate the Minister of State, Deputy Colm Burke, on his appointment and wish him well. I would not be putting this issue down at all today if I had received replies from the HSE to the questions I asked weeks ago. It is disgraceful the way this House is being treated by Ministers, Departments and the HSE when we table parliamentary questions. I am a Member of the Parliament and I should get my replies in a reasonable time. I want to put that on the record of the House today. The second issue …
I am disappointed with the response from the Minister of State and I will tell him why. This primary care centre was to be completed in 2020. Works have been at a standstill since 2021. We are now into 2024. I want there to be the same urgency with this work as there was for the national children's hospital in Dublin. In that case, the Government stepped in and had to renegotiate with the builders. I really do not care about the developer. I care about the people of Ballyhaunis and the primary medical care centre. …
I thank the Minister of State.
Much as I agree with the Deputy, I must call Deputy Martin Browne.
I thank the Deputy. Deputy Catherine Murphy is next.
We all agree with the Deputy but that is not a point of order.
I agree in principle with the Minister of State's Bill because we know we have a problem with gambling in the country. However, as all the previous Deputies have said, the proposal in the Bill is wrong. It is not going to work. I ask the Minister of State not to ask us to vote for the legislation tonight if there is something wrong with it. It is fine for the officials but these voluntary organisations and everybody else are out there raising funds. Last Saturday night, I was at a function for the Westport GAA club…
I call the first speaker from the Independent Group. Deputy Canney has four minutes. I am sorry, it is the Regional Group. There are so many groups it is hard to keep a thumb on you all. Deputy Canney might move the motion.
The Minister of State has ten minutes.
Next up is People Before Profit-Solidarity. Deputies Bríd Smith and Richard Boyd Barrett are sharing time, is that correct?
Moving on to the Rural Independent Group, we have six speakers and I ask them to respect one another with regard to time. I will stop them after eight minutes.
Before I call on the Minister of State to respond, I congratulate her and wish her the very best of luck.
I understand Deputy Shanahan is sharing time.
