The Government's policy is insulting.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 34 of 855 decisive votes (4 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

The Government's policy is insulting.
The Minister should address the issue of the lagging regions. I asked a question on that.
I ask the Minister to address the issue of the lagging regions.
I do not want to be rude, but can the Minister answer the question I asked?
Will the Minister release the document?
That should be-----
This week, Aontú broke the news that 40,000 tonnes of fertiliser were imported from Russia to Waterford port. It is estimated this is worth approximately €40 million. It is alleged that the supplier of the fertiliser is a sanctioned Russian oligarch. This is an incredible situation. The Government plans to train Ukrainian military personnel in Ireland, which is clearly in breach of Irish neutrality, on the one hand and it appears the Government is allowing sanctions against Russian oligarchs to be breached on the o…
Not to Russian oligarchs. It is the payment to the Russian oligarch that is the point here.
A figure of 357 homeless people have died in the last five years in Dublin. That is the equivalent loss of life of a transatlantic flight falling from the sky. It is a catastrophe that is happening silently and invisibly every other day on the streets in which we live. There were 47 deaths across homeless services in Dublin in 2018, 49 in 2019 and 76 in 2020. Last year, in 2021, incredibly, 115 people died in homeless services. So far this year, 70 people are recorded to have lost their lives in the Dublin homeless…
I am surprised at the Taoiseach. These figures are very stark and real. There are direct correlations between being homeless and losing one's life. Equivocating or fudging at this point in 2022, after years of this, is simply not good enough. Ten or 15 years ago, the Government might have had an excuse for doing so. However, equivocating on these figures, the direct correlation and the cause and effect that is happening on the streets of Dublin is wrong at this point. If that is the stage the Government is at, it s…
The Government is not contributing to solving these issues by way of any real effort or urgency.
What actions is the Government taking to make sure this problem is solved and lives are saved?
People with houses do not have access to primary care-----
Has the Taoiseach seen what is happening in child and adolescent mental health services?
There will be a rolling closure of early childhood care and education, ECCE, and childcare services starting in November. Five hundred small businesses will close their services. It will affect approximately 20,000 parents and will be the first of many. It will go on for months and months. The reason for this is that some of these small businesses are simply being closed down by the core funding plan of the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth. This core funding plan does not adequatel…
Will the Taoiseach address the rolling closures?
The Taoiseach can wait and see.
I have been trying to solve this problem for weeks.
Does the Taoiseach not understand that businesses are going to close?
It is not enough, however.
