We will take up the violin for you, will we?
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 49 of 1,011 decisive votes (16 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Cynical?
The last time the Deputy was on those benches, he was taking backhanders.
Ah, give over.
Seriously.
Every one of them voted to censure you because of the corruption.
Cop yourself on.
Some families are waiting 12 years for help for their disabled children. They are waiting 12 years, not 12 hours.
That is not true. On a point of order-----
On a point of order, we tabled an amendment and you voted against it. That is why the people took to the street. Just get your facts correct.
Point of order. You are telling fibs here.
It is not a fact. Sorry, you cannot make up your own facts.
A Leas-Cheann Comhairle, we put forward the proposal to reduce it with the first vote that day. They voted against it. We would not accept their half measures and that is why people rolled up. That is why people took to the streets.
Tell the truth.
That is nonsense.
We have an amendment that will actually do the business.
A late bloomer to democracy? I took your party to the High Court because you denied democracy. Micheál Martin was found guilty in the High Court of trying to stop the people of Ireland having a by-election. Do not lecture me about democracy-----
I move amendment No. 1: In paragraph (1)— (a) in subparagraph (a)— (i) by the substitution of the following for the row dated 15 April 2026: “ " and (ii) by the deletion of the rows dated 1 August 2026 to 1 May 2030, and (b) by the deletion of subparagraph (b).”. When I stood at the protests right across this State with the ordinary Irish people, I pledged to them I would have their back. I told them that I would fight their corner and I am not going to let them down. That is exactly what we are doing here today. W…
If you did, you would understand that your measures simply do not go far enough. How could you stand up, understanding where people are at, and decide to say you are just doing nothing on home heating oil and you are just going to leave people to paddle their own canoe in relation to that issue? Simon, I stood in the homes of these people. They invited me in. They have shown me their tanks running dry. They told me they have had to put on an extra coat at night. I have been in homes where somebody opened their wall…
He and his father stood in a farming shed that evening in the middle of the protests. It was lambing season. The father is well beyond pension age but cannot retire because he cannot afford it. He said he and his son cannot even draw a wage from the farm now yet there is a 4 cent cut to green diesel - private jets get a 24 cent cut under Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and the Independents. It shows your priorities.
