On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 312 of 313 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.

Party over time

This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Visit of Isle of Man Delegation

Before moving to Leaders' Questions, I ask Members to join me in extending a warm céad míle fáilte to my colleague and very good friend from the Isle of Man, the President of the Tynwald, Mr. Laurence Skelly. He is joined by a delegation of members of the Legislative Council from the House of Keys on a study visit to the Houses of the Oireachtas. We welcome the group and hope their visit is a fruitful one. Theirs is the longest established parliament in the world. I do not know about them coming here to learn from …

Can we have a little order? We move now to Deputy Barry and Solidarity Before Profit. I apologise, People Before Profit-Solidarity.

Ceisteanna ó Cheannairí - Leaders' Questions

I think there is a problem with the sound up there. We might see if we can do something about that. Maybe it is just the Deputy's dulcet tones; I do not know.

Ceisteanna - Questions

There is a group of Questions Nos. 1 to 4 before the House. However, none of the Members posing the questions is present. I therefore propose that written responses are issued to the four Deputies, if that is in order. Yes.

Research and Innovation Bill 2024: Second Stage

I need the assistance of the House. We are coming towards the end of the first round and we now have a Government slot, with Deputy Higgins, and a Sinn Féin slot, with Deputy Ó Murchú. There are no speakers from the Independent Group but we have Deputies Boyd Barrett, Bruton and Murnane O'Connor. We will follow the schedule and I will then come back and take the Government speakers and Deputy Boyd Barrett in the second round, and then go to the Minister of State. We must wrap up by 4.45 p.m. Is that agreed? Agreed.…
