Since this is a Private Members' Bill, Second Stage must, under Standing Orders, be taken in Private Members' time.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 312 of 313 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

The time is up now.
Wait now.
We are not having a question-and-answer session.
I ask Deputy Gannon to resume his seat. The Deputy's time will be respected. Of course, it will. There is provision for statements, not questions and answers. We will not turn it into a circus. We have had the statements - end of story. We will move on now to Deputy Gannon.
We will move on to Deputy Gannon.
I made it clear that we are not into questions and answers. Will Deputy Gannon make his statement-----
-----and we will take his question as rhetorical?
Please, Deputies.
Deputies, please.
We find ourselves in a somewhat strange situation today. It is not normal for us to rehearse or interrogate evidence given to the Special Criminal Court or anywhere else in the legal system for that matter. A lot of Members have asked a lot of questions that I am inclined to regard as rhetorical because we are dealing with statements and not questions and answers. The parliamentary system is such that there really is not an opportunity for the Government side to hold the Opposition to account. It is the job of the …
It most definitely-----
It most definitely is. That is why I have decided that Members can use their time in whatever way they choose provided they do so responsibly.
I have three other questions to get to. Will the Deputy ask his question?
As this is a financial resolution, in accordance with Standing Order 210 the debate will be done in Committee style. Accordingly, there is no restriction on the length of time of Members' contributions, but perhaps, with the agreement of the House, we could agree that each Member of the House when speaking will be cognisant of the available time for other Members and that the debate will be brought to a conclusion after half an hour. Is that agreed?
I thank the Minister. That concludes Leaders' Questions.
I call Deputy Bacik, please.
One minute.
We are out of time but have two remaining questioners. We will take 30-second questions from both.
Thank you, Deputy. Time is up.
