Deputy Ellis is next but he is not here. I call Deputy Duncan Smith.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 312 of 313 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Deputy Ellis is next but he is not here. I call Deputy Duncan Smith.
We move now to the Rural Independent Group where Deputy Michael Collins is sharing with his three colleagues.
We will hear the Minister of State, Deputy Burke, who is sharing with Deputy McHugh.
I wish to advise the House of the following in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Patrick Costello - to discuss the need for a national support group for parents with children in care; (2) Deputies Fergus O'Dowd and Ged Nash - to discuss Garda resources and the serious reported assaults that took place in the east Meath coastal area over recent weeks; (3) Deputies Thomas Pringle, Pearse Doherty, Holly Cairns and Maurice Quinlivan - to d…
I take it that Deputy Doherty is correct. I was not aware that priority questions could be grouped with each other. My understanding is that priority questions can be grouped with other non-priority questions.
I thank the Minister.
Deputy O'Reilly is not here to ask her question. I call Deputy Nash.
I have no notice of that. I call Deputy Nash.
I thank Deputy O'Connor. I call Deputy Cairns.
You have two and a half minutes.
I thank Deputy Pringle. That concludes Statements on Traveller accommodation. We are all looking forward to the publication in the not-too-distant future of the report of the all-party committee led very ably by Senator Eileen Flynn on issues affecting the Traveller community. Much more importantly, we all look forward to the implementation of the recommendations of that report.
I must intervene to ask Deputy Pringle to propose the adjournment of the debate at this stage.
I wish to advise the House of the following in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputies Mattie McGrath, Michael Collins, Carol Nolan and Danny Healy-Rae - to discuss the serious international incidence with a Spanish trawler that occurred at the south-west coast of Ireland; (2) Deputies Aengus Ó Snodaigh and Joan Collins - to discuss the closure of Hesed House in Inchicore and the consequences for Dublin 8, 10 and 12; (3) Deputy Réada Croni…
It might be preferable for Deputies not to make adverse comments about the Taoiseach when he is not here to defend himself.
I thank the Minister of State. For the information of the Deputy, which he may avail of after the appropriate investigations to which the Minister of State alluded are completed, if a Member is unhappy with the performance of a State agency, it is always open to him or her to ask that agency to come before the relevant Oireachtas committee and give account of what happened or did not happen, as the case may be.
The Minister of State is taking the third Topical Issue debate as well.
I thank the Deputy for those words of wisdom.
As I listened to the Deputy and the Minister of State speak on this, I was minded of the hugely important work of one of our leading psychologists, Dr. Maureen Gaffney, which looks at the importance of early access to books by young children on their progression in life. The fourth important item has been submitted by Deputy Thomas Gould, who wishes to discuss the special article published today by the Economic and Social Research Institute, ESRI, calling for increased borrowing to increase public housing delivery.
Can we hear the Minister of State without interruption?
