Thank you, Tánaiste.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 172 of 425 decisive votes (10 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Thank you, Tánaiste.
Before we move to Other Members' Questions, I have a message to welcome the guests from Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí in Tralee. They are guests of Deputy Pa Daly but I am reliably informed the Minister of State, Deputy Michael Moynihan's wife is a teacher there. They are very welcome.
Leave the Tánaiste time to respond.
Deputy Kenny is using another Member's time.
We stick to the 60 seconds. If you cannot make your point, then you have asked the question in the wrong forum.
Allow the answer, Deputy.
Please, Deputy.
I call the Tánaiste to respond.
Is the Bill opposed?
Since this is a Private Members' Bill, Second Stage must, under Standing Orders, be taken in Private Members' time.
I call Deputy Feighan.
I have to check formula-wise. Deputy Gannon is down for interaction but I am not sure the Deputies can share time. The Deputies are not sponsors of the Bill, or are they?
The Deputies can finish out their time. They have five minutes. It is two and a half minutes each, if that is what they wish.
Sorry, is the Deputy's colleague coming in?
The division is postponed until the weekly division time next week.
Before calling Deputy McDonald, I welcome to the Distinguished Visitors Gallery the Canadian ambassador, H.E. Dennis King, who is on a scheduled visit. Although I spoke to him earlier this morning, I take a moment to convey from us all our heartfelt sympathy following the tragic incident that occurred yesterday in British Columbia. The ambassador should know that the victims, the injured, their families and the whole community of Tumbler Ridge are in our thoughts and prayers. I thank him for being with us.
Thank you, Taoiseach. Time is up. Deputy McDonald to respond.
I thank the Taoiseach. Time is up.
Time is up. Before I move to Deputy Cairns, we can have robust debate but I ask all Members that the debate be respectful with a mindfulness towards our Gallery being full.
The Deputy will be back in. The Taoiseach to respond.
