Summary of this debate

Auto-generated

I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters: Senator Lynn Boylan - The need for the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications to make a statement on the effect on the cost of electricity of increases in gross electricity demand and peak electricity demand. Senator Victor Boyhan - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to make a statement on the delays in designating Killarney National Park and parts of the Burren as special areas of conservation; and whether those two sites are the subject of proceedings from the European Commission for infringing the EU habitats directive.

Senator Aidan Davitt - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to extend SI 196 of 2023 to include councillors in the entitlement to the new security measure allowance.
