I can confirm to the Deputies that the Department of Education is not in receipt of a current application from the school for the additional school accommodation, ASA, scheme. The Minister of State said the Department has advised the school to carry out a dry test but nobody going into that school needs to carry out a dry test. Greystones Community College is another school in Greystones.
Temple Carrig School in Greystones is also a co-educational school established in 2014, as the Deputy will be aware. In addition to the above projects, there is also the existing school in the adjacent Kilcoole school planning area, Coláiste Chraobh Abhann, for which a major project has been approved to expand the school to 1,000 pupils. In the context of post-primary enrolment pressures at Greystones, the Department is aware of pressures for school places for the 2024-25 school year.
Built by scoring every sentence in the debate on how distinctive its language is, then quoting the highest-scoring ones back word for word and in the order spoken. Nothing is paraphrased or invented — if a sentence appears here, it was said in the chamber. Drawn from 8,762 words across 34 contributions by 8 speakers.
How often each word appears across the whole debate, ranked by how distinctive it is to this debate rather than common to all parliamentary language.
All 1 contribution, start to finish, in the order they were made. The one you came here for is highlighted.
