Summary of this debate

Auto-generated

I move: That, pursuant to subsection 2° of section 2 of Article 25 of the Constitution, Seanad Éireann concurs with the Government in a request to the President to sign the Maternity Protection Bill 2024 on a date which is earlier than the fifth day after the date on which the Bill shall have been presented to him. It is nice when legislation has support from all sides. I congratulate him and his officials in that regard.

Equally, I congratulate and thank all the Members for their participation in a process that has brought this matter to a successful conclusion. At 1 p.m. on Tuesday, 5 November 2024.
