I welcome to the Distinguished Visitors Gallery the ambassador from Croatia, H.E. Davor Vidiš. Not only is the ambassador famous in his own right but his first cousin-in-law is the Mayor of Dubrovnik.

Party shown is the one held on 2025-05-28, frozen at parse time — not the speaker's party today.
I welcome to the Distinguished Visitors Gallery the ambassador from Croatia, H.E. Not only is the ambassador famous in his own right but his first cousin-in-law is the Mayor of Dubrovnik. Croatia's national day is coming up and we commemorate all the national days of our EU partners.
I understand it will be the 35th anniversary of Croatia's statehood and the establishment of its new constitution in 1990. The links between our two countries go back much further to when a field marshal in the Austrian army, a man from Westmeath, was very much an advocate for independence and statehood for Croatia. Patrick's Day is celebrated in that city, we are delighted to celebrate Croatia's national day in Seanad Éireann.
Built by scoring every sentence in the debate on how distinctive its language is, then quoting the highest-scoring ones back word for word and in the order spoken. Nothing is paraphrased or invented — if a sentence appears here, it was said in the chamber. Drawn from 167 words across 3 contributions by 2 speakers.
How often each word appears across the whole debate, ranked by how distinctive it is to this debate rather than common to all parliamentary language.
All 3 contributions, start to finish, in the order they were made. The one you came here for is highlighted.

I would love to visit Dubrovnik.
We have a volunteer for the friendship group. We share a love of language and I understand there is a statue of James Joyce in Pula. Just as St. Patrick's Day is celebrated in that city, we are delighted to celebrate Croatia's national day in Seanad Éireann. I thank the ambassador for being here with us today.
