What the debate was about

Auto-generated

I would like to pass on my condolences to the family of the former Senator, Ernie Caffrey, on behalf of myself and my colleagues. I join everyone in offering my sincere condolences to the family of former Senator Ernie Caffrey. Senator Nessa Cosgrove spoke about the triple lock mechanism, as did Senator Tom Clonan.

Senator Sarah O’Reilly spoke about the EU migration pact, Northern Ireland and the impact of the pact. Senator Tom Clonan also spoke about the triple lock mechanism. When Senator Clonan talks about people who have differing views, there are loads of people who are either in the Army or are former Army members who have the opposite view to him.

Party shown is the one each member held on 2026-06-09, frozen by a dated join — not their party today. The Oireachtas API publishes no date of birth and returns an empty gender field for every member in this period, so no age or gender breakdown is shown.
