I move amendment No. 36: In page 121, between lines 9 and 10, to insert the following: "Application of Freedom of Information Act 2014 to Authority 135. (1) Notwithstanding section 6(12) of the Freedom of Information Act 2014, the obligations under that Act shall apply to the Authority on and from the establishment day of the Authority. (2) Notwithstanding section 2(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2014, the “effective date” in the case of the Authority shall, for the purposes of that Act, be 21 April 2008.". Section 46(3) of the Disability Act 2005 is amended by the substitution of “members of An Garda Síochána within the meaning of the Policing, Security and Community Safety Act 2023 ” for “members, within the meaning of section 3(1) of the Garda Síochána Act 2005, of the Garda Síochána”.”.
