With respect to the amendments the Minister has presented and our amendments, I will speak to amendment No. 2, in the Minister's name, and then I have a query about amendments Nos. 16 to 18, inclusive. Regarding the amendments that relate to the Aarhus Convention, we know An Taisce says the Bill is out of compliance under the Aarhus Convention.
People have thrown it out that the Aarhus Convention compliance committee said the Bill is not compliant with Aarhus; however, it is compliant with Aarhus. Amendments Nos. 40 and 41 are wording amendments related to section 26 of the Bill. There is no question but that the amendments before us are important, and that I respect all Members, but we will not get to the amendments on LNG.
