It is a fact.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 54 of 1,045 decisive votes (16 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

It is a fact.
The reps are getting that.
That is misleading.
I move: That Dáil Éireann: notes that: — it is widely accepted that the Government has chosen to underfund the Health Service in Budget 2024; — comments made by the Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly TD, recorded in the Irish Times on Thursday, 12th October, 2023, stating "it is entirely likely that a supplementary budget will be required next year"; — comments made by the Chief Executive Officer of the Health Service Executive (HSE) to the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Health on 27th September, 2023, stating th…
Hear, hear.
Those are Fine Gael policies.
I could not agree more.
Not all core.
From Fine Gael colleagues maybe.
I thank all the speakers who contributed to this debate. The three Ministers who spoke did their best to put a gloss on what was a disastrous budget for health for 2024. However, the facts expose the budget in health as the emperor with no clothes. It is very clear to anybody who is looking at what is happening in our health service and for the budget next year that the health service is underfunded and it will have dire consequences for patients. If the Government does not provide enough money for the health servi…
Vótáil.
Since the foundation of the State.
There have been record patient-----
-----and 1 million people waiting for care.
And child and adolescent mental health services, CAMHS?
We were all hoping that we would hear more from the three Ministers today. Today, from my perspective, it is more about the Government trying to control the narrative, change the story and shift the blame but not fix the problem it created with the chronic and very deliberate underfunding of our health service. In reality, we are now being told that we should stand logic on its head, that previous statements from the HSE, from the Department and from the Minister for Health should be set aside, and that black is wh…
Well, that is it. The Cathaoirleach Gníomhach represents some of Waterford as well.
You do indeed. I welcome the fact that we have statements on trends in mortality and estimates of excess mortality. It is important that we have clear, factual and evidence-based data put on the public record. Some of the information given by the Minister of State is very helpful. I have seen some misinformation and mischaracterisation in respect of this topic, especially online, which is unhelpful. It is very important that we have a chance to have a debate on this matter and to have factual information. It is als…
I welcome the representatives of the various groups that provide essential services to people with disabilities who are in the Public Gallery. This is the first motion we have tabled since the budget. We picked the area of disabilities because it is so important. It has moved from the Department of Health to the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth but it is still a very important part of the delivery of healthcare and the HSE funds many of the services. There has been lots of comment…
The one-off funding.
