Yes.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 503 of 506 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

I move: That the Eighteenth Report of the Committee of Selection be laid before Seanad Éireann.
I thank the Cathaoirleach. As he said he was being lenient in the context of people talking about more than one issue-----
I only have one issue. I wish to comment on what the previous two speakers mentioned.
I want to do so. I agree with them. The Tipperary game against Cork will be on television next weekend, and we will set you back after we win. There are so many GAA games being watched on RTÉ every week. People talk about games being behind a paywall, but some people forget that there are many who watch those games on dodgy boxes that cost €70 per year.
I am not condoning it.
I am not condoning it, and I certainly do not have one. However, there are many people using that facility to watch games at home, which is not what the GAA, RTÉ or anyone wants. It is not true to say that people are not watching at home, that is for sure. The Sisters of Charity National School in Clonmel is a wonderful primary school that caters for approximately 380 girls. It has a brilliant reputation and is led by Clíodhna Breen, the principal. There are 15 teachers there. However, due to a rising population an…
The Minister of State is very welcome to the Chamber. I firstly acknowledge the amount of work he has done on this incredibly important piece of legislation. There are so many addictions people can have from drugs, to alcohol, to gambling and to loads of things, but the one which can be hidden the most is gambling. We need to put in as many measures as possible to create as much of a deterrent as possible, particularly for young people and people who are vulnerable, to get into gambling. That is what this Bill does…
I welcome the announcement this morning in regard to Government funding for sports capital grants. Almost €1 million has been announced for County Tipperary today with many sports clubs of all types receiving significant amounts of funding. Cahir Golf Club is getting €40,000 and Clonmel Commercials ladies are getting €15,000. The Sports Hub in Clonmel is getting €100,000 which is really important because that is something this Government has invested in hugely. It is about getting further equipment so that schools …
I do not know why you would want to watch the Cork hurling team.
You are better off.
Today, I had the wonderful opportunity of having more than 30 members from the Cashel retirement group come to Leinster House. The Cathaoirleach was kind enough to meet them. I promised I would raise two issues which they asked me to bring up. It relates to things important to them locally in Cashel and nationally for older people. The first is an update on the 60-bed nursing unit in Cashel. This is an important development being built in Cashel. It is in the capital plan. It is in the pre-planning stage at the mom…
Next Wednesday at 12.30 p.m.
Can we contact the Minister for Transport, Deputy Eamon Ryan, regarding the N24 road from Limerick to Waterford? I have raised this issue numerous times. We are at a critical stage with this project.
Perhaps the request could be made in the context of her position rather than personally. On a serious note, there are only a few weeks left until the design group completes its work on the design for this route. It is being done in two phases. The phase relating to the part of the road between Cahir and Waterford is the one that has been shelved by the Minister. He has decided not to fund it anymore. We are looking for €2.5 million. Over the past seven years, this Government and that which preceded it spent over €5…
I will not need five minutes. I only need a minute or so. In fact, my voice is nearly gone so I will only need a second or two. I welcome the Minister of State and his departmental staff to the Seanad. He outlined the Bill very well. It will have the support of the Minister of State's party in the Seanad. He also outlined the benefits it would bring and what it would mean for companies if the referendum on 7 June is successful in terms of the ease of applying for a patent and having it accessible not just to Irelan…
The Minister and his officials are very welcome to the Chamber. The Bill will be supported by Fine Gael Members. I am here on behalf of Senator Ward, who cannot be present. I will not speak for too long because my voice is almost gone as well. I welcome the Bill. As Senator Gallagher said, it is important legislation that is coming through to speed up, in a timely manner, court proceedings. Everyone is aware, whether it is themselves or people they know, of those who have had to go through the courts where it has t…
Tipperary County Council has put forward two important projects for the town of Clonmel. It is awaiting a response and a decision by two Departments. The library in Clonmel has made an application for library capital funding through the Department of Rural and Community Development. This is a really ambitious project to redevelop the main library in Mick Delahunty Square, Clonmel. It is a €10 million project and covers three floors. The existing library is not fit for purpose. It will enhance the whole of Mick Dela…
If that was the case, then you would have to clarify-----
