I thank Senator Higgins. I call Senator Carrigy.
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 535 of 539 decisive votes (0 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

Before we proceed, I welcome our visitors to the Gallery. They are here as guests of Deputy Michael Healy-Rae and Senator Eugene Murphy. Cuirim fáilte rompu.
That concludes our round of group spokespersons. All remaining speakers will have six minutes commencing with Senator Cassells.
As we are speaking about the lottery and advertising, it is ironic and appropriate that I welcome Dorothy and Paul Coyle to the Chamber from Lough Ree Access for All. Ballyleague, Lanesboro is on the Longford side of it. They are well known to us all from the good causes national lottery advertisement on the television.
Our next contributor is Senator Ahearn, to complete his little flip-flop which has saved a great deal of time.
I also welcome to the House for the first time in her role the Minister of State, Deputy Carroll MacNeill. She has ten minutes to open the debate.
Through the Chair.
It gives me great pleasure as a Kilbeggan man to welcome to the Gallery my neighbours from across the border in County Offaly who are members of Tullamore active retirement group. I hope they have a very enjoyable visit to the Houses of the Oireachtas.
I thank the Senator. As there are no more contributors, the Minister of State has no less than ten minutes to wrap up. As we are running ahead of schedule, I will be lenient with her if she wishes to continue.
I thank the Minister of State and all Senators for their contributions. When is it proposed to sit again?
