When will it be delivered?
On prevailing side: this member voted with the winning side in 43 of 1,065 decisive votes (12 abstentions excluded). Read it as a government-or-opposition indicator rather than a measure of influence — the figure is near 100% for members supporting the government of the day and near 0% for those opposing it.
This is the point of the site: contributions keep the party held on the day, not the one held now.

When will it be delivered?
Will the Minister of State walk with me?
I will organise that.
Perhaps Deputy Hearne will come with us.
Is the Minister of State going to vote against it?
The Minister of State sold his soul for a Ministry.
You sold it to the devil.
We are telling the truth.
People cannot turn on their electricity because of the cost of it.
We will be downloading the videos from last year and putting them up on YouTube after.
Yesterday, the Government finally listened to me, to Sinn Féin and to all those who had campaigned so that the derelict sites levy would be collected by Revenue. I compliment Dr. Frank O'Connor and Ms Jude Sherry for the Trojan work they and others have done to highlight the scourge of dereliction. The Government finally brought in this levy for Revenue to collect to ensure that it was collected. For years, millions of euro have been owed to local authorities from either derelict sites that were put on the register…
They do not want to.
I will follow up on a point made by the Deputy. I have spoken to the representatives of some colleges and they have told me that they have the capacity to deliver more therapists and all the professionals we need. They are saying that if they get the funding and resources, they can meet the challenges. I know UCC is rolling out additional courses. There should be more courses to allow universities to deliver more therapists. Parents tell me they cannot get therapists for their children. They feel their children are…
Like the Minister, I have attended meetings and met women who have described how they have suffered. Their lives have been hugely impacted. Endometriosis has completely changed their quality of life. It has just been horrendous for them. It is good to hear that the Minister is listening to the patient and it is good to see that a framework has been put in place. I accept her sincerity in this but what I do not want to see is more suffering. These women have suffered enough. What we do not want to see is the HSE org…
Right across cities, towns and villages, there are empty, vacant, and derelict houses and buildings lying idle. They are being left to rot. These are properties and homes where people should be able to live, work and raise families, but instead they are left derelict and vacant. GeoDirectory has found record levels of commercial vacancy. It has also found that only 2,377 homes have been charged with the vacant homes tax. There are probably two or three times more than that in Cork city alone. This is a shockingly l…
I accept that town centre first is a good model. The problem is that only 26 town centres were done in the first three years, between 2021 and 2024, and another 26 have been passed for 2024 and the next three years, as I learned from the answer I got to a parliamentary question. The town centre first policy is a good policy, but it will take 90 years to implement because there are over 800 towns in the State and we are only doing 26 every three years. That is crazy. The Government has a project that is good in prin…
I want to read into the record the names of three brave rebels who are now on a flotilla 120 nautical miles from Gaza - Tadhg Hickey, Donna Schwarz and Paddy Cole. They join our friend and comrade, Senator Chris Andrews, and many others who are sailing to Gaza. They are taking their lives in their hands because we know other flotillas have been attacked and people have been murdered. These people are showing bravery in going to Gaza, and to sail in the face of Israeli aggression. They have already been attacked by …
I will be honest; this is mind-boggling. Insurance companies have been ripping off the Irish people for as long as I can remember. I am 57 years of age. I have been driving for 39 years and for 39 years these companies have ripped off me and everyone else in this State. People are struggling with the cost of living. They are struggling to put food on the table, to pay the rent and to keep the lights on and everyone needs to get to work, school, college or hospital appointments. You cannot depend on public transport…
To follow on, I see the Minister of State is reading his notes. When he gets the opportunity to address us, I would like him to explain to us how the companies justify the prices being so high. We understand there are costs to insurance, including the cost of payouts and the costs of administration, but how can the enormous profits these companies are making be justified?
They are making huge profits. What is the Minister of State doing about it?
