What the debate was about

Auto-generated

I must now deal with a deferred division relating to amendment No. 4 by Sinn Féin to the motion re the conflict in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory. Yesterday, on the question "That the amendment be made" a division was claimed and that division must be taken now.

As the gap is less than ten and as this amendment to specifically say that Israel is responsible for this onslaught has not been accepted, we are calling for a vote by other than electronic means. As the Deputy is a teller and the difference in the votes is less than ten, the division will proceed.

Party shown is the one each member held on 2024-01-24, frozen by a dated join — not their party today. The Oireachtas API publishes no date of birth and returns an empty gender field for every member in this period, so no age or gender breakdown is shown.
